Another season presents itself and at this time we can look forward to the new season with hope, news that Dice has got engaged has broken hasbeen's heart - but I'm sure they'll kiss and make up. All this equates to a Stag do next summer 2011 so watch this space.
And so others follow in the footsteps of the captain, the manager to the delights of married life, children a glint in eye, the forgotten years of Stockholm, Magaluf, Copenhagen, Blackpool, Alicante, Ibiza, Tenerife a distant memory......who at this dark hour will take up the mantle to lead a final charge to Scream bogs, order a 25 vody selection at Revolution.....order strawberries and champayne in friary to be drunk from plastic glasses.......the contenders look lacking...
Upo - Once claimed he had the body to appear in Mens Health, the brains to appear in GAY and the lunch box to go all night long....at 16 he was 5ft 4" by 17 he was 6ft 3"......who know's how big he'll grow.
Tom Leadley - Friday nights with the manager a distant happy memory.....
James Harrison - Once claimed he couldn't come out with the boys due to college work only to be spotted slumped in SYN sipping WKD's with his other half......
Chad and Brett - one's ran off to Veitnam others in hull, both have disgraced themselves throughout the years, be it walking into a lamp post or sharing a triple whopper with the manager at 4am....both have much to answer for
Wigman - claimed he wasn't out only to show up sporting triceps and a panda pop......the ultimate professional paperboy
Ryan - Unproved track record, claimed he drank a 2 litre bottle of vodka and then got the higgest score ever on his Tamogocci...yeah right, vodka
So seems the best years are behind the majority, so we should therefore embark on a new journey to uncover a new light, the next big thing...... training every Sunday...
Please note the club do not condone excessive drinking unless supervised by the manager. Failure to attend due to drink is considered "a poor show"
